The position is a great opportunity for a person who has some experience in tax, has a responsible and proactive approach, and also has a desire to work with data and look for connections. – preparation of notices, applications and other submissions to tax authorities or other institutions
– preparation of applications for VAT registration
– preparation of opinions and technical documents
– preparation of replies to various tax questions
– preparation of model documents and useful materials (contracts, agreements, applications, etc.)
– preparation of powers of attorney, termination of powers of attorney, service contracts, quotations
– communication with the tax authorities and, where appropriate, other institutions, representation of clients before the tax authorities and other institutions
– communication with foreign tax and other authorities (except for foreign VAT refund claims)
– communicating with partner offices abroad to resolve international tax problems
– communicating with and meeting clients to resolve their tax issues
– advising accountants and payroll specialists on tax, accounting and payroll issues
– consultation of professional issues with a tax adviser
– monitoring legislation, preparing newsletters
– knowledge of English language is a must and German (an advantage).
