“I have more than 25 years of domestic and international professional experience in statutory audit, internal audit services, consulting and trainings for the private and public sector.

I have managed a number of consultancy and training projects (in the areas of financial management and control, risk management, internal audit, compliance audits, management reviews) for state and public administration bodies, including central state bodies. For private sector clients I have carried out SOX projects and internal control setup/testing projects in addition to statutory audits, assistance in setting up an internal audit team and training internal auditors. Between November 2010 and November 2016, I acted as the Chair of the Ethics and Independence Committee of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors (SKAU) and Chair of the SKAU Auditing Standards Committee responsible for the preparation of guidance for statutory auditors on audit methodology, ISAs and ethical issues.

I am a statutory auditor and a member of the Presidium of the Slovak Chamber of Auditors (SKAU) responsible for foreign relations, an international financial auditor (FCCA), a certified internal auditor (CIA) and a certified government auditor (CGAP). I have extensive knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) issued by IFAC, IFRS, Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing issued by the Institute of Internal Auditors, and INTOSAI standards (International Standards for Supreme Audit Institutions – ISSAIs). I also focus on consulting and auditing in the area of reporting of non-financial information and standards for reporting information on sustainability. I represent SKAU in international associations of professional accountants and auditors such as Accountancy Europe and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).”
